For over 15 years, our partnership with Acwa has been defined by a shared drive to push boundaries in the Middle East.
We recently took our shared commitment even further by signing a strategic agreement in Paris to optimize seawater desalination performance across their operating fleet—encompassing a massive 9.7 million cubic meters per day of capacity.
Power consumption remains desalination's largest operating cost. Having spent a decade setting world records together in energy efficiency, we know that real impact requires examining the entire value chain—from plant design to daily operations and chemical optimization. Every fractional kilowatt-hour saved per cubic meter transforms facility economics and environmental footprints.
Building water security across the region depends on preserving every drop through steady technical iteration. By combining Veolia Water Tech's technologies with ACWA's exceptional operational footprint, we are proud to continue building essential infrastructure and strategic autonomy for the region's future.
Wishing great success to all the teams bringing these developments to life.
